High Tech High Media Arts recently improved its technical facilities by adding a cutting-edge digital media and sound production studio to help with its advanced visual arts curriculum. Students are working together on a new project that combines environmental science with documentary filmmaking. The project will be shown at local film festivals in the near future. The school has also started a special career mentorship program for the 2025–2026 school year. This program pairs upperclassmen with professionals from the San Diego tech and media corridors.
