John W. North High School recently celebrated the end of a big $61.5 million campus makeover. This included the opening of a brand-new science building with eight classrooms and a state-of-the-art 18,327-square-foot competitive gym. The modernization project also included the installation of advanced hydroponic towers for hands-on urban farming and major upgrades to HVAC systems, lighting, and flooring in seven existing buildings. Additionally, the campus was recently given a 2026 Beautification Award at the Riverside State of the City address for its dedication to keeping the learning environment welcoming and of high quality.
