Latest News

The Alvord Unified School District recently adopted new math, science, and world language curriculum materials for the 2025–2026 school year. Hillcrest High School students are already seeing the benefits of these changes. The school is also putting into place a new Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) strategic plan, which gives students more chances to be creative in a variety of art forms. The school also helps its student-athletes by offering a strong winter sports program. For example, the wrestling and basketball teams recently competed in matches as they prepare for the regional playoffs.
