Recently, a lot more students have been taking part in Joaquin Miller Career and Transition Center's Advanced Placement programs. This shows a bigger commitment to making college more accessible and preparing students for college. The school keeps improving its Work-Based Learning programs by giving students paid on-the-job training and real-life mentorships in a variety of fields, including cybersecurity, culinary arts, and automotive technology. The campus has also worked with the Department of Rehabilitation to create new collaborative individual transition plans.
