Citrus Valley High School's AVID college readiness program helps students grow both academically and personally. It gives them regular chances to visit college campuses and get special instruction in critical thinking and organization. The Performing Arts department at the school is still very busy getting ready for its seasonal performances. At the same time, the athletics department is in charge of a full schedule of 23 different sports competing in the Citrus Belt League. The campus has also become a community center.
