John Muir High School is currently making a lot of changes to its campus. For example, the gym, bathrooms, and swimming pool will all be getting renovations to meet CIF standards and include a 40-meter pool. Recently, the school's sports program had some big wins. The football team won the 2024 Pacific League Championship, and a number of student-athletes were named to the 2025 All-Pacific League teams. The Early College Magnet program also gives students unique academic opportunities, like the chance to earn up to two years of college credit through a partnership with Pasadena City College.
