It is one of the best schools in the Lemoore Union High School District. The curriculum is strong and lets students take Advanced Placement classes and tests. Lemoore High School has a 22% participation rate in AP classes, which shows how serious they are about getting students ready for college. There are a lot of different kinds of students on campus. 78% are minorities and 58% are low-income. According to academic data for the years 2025–2026, 22% of students are good at math and 49% are good at reading. The school also helps students get ready for the SAT and ACT, which are tests they need to take to get into college. It is one of the most well-known schools in the area. Lemoore High School is moving forward with modernizing its campus, and the most recent upgrade was to the science labs, which are now better suited for advanced STEM research and experimentation. The school's Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter is still doing well in the region. Recently, students won top honors in competitions for agricultural leadership and judging livestock. The campus is also getting ready for its annual community showcase. This is an event where different academic departments and student groups show off their newest projects and creative solutions to local business leaders.
