MERIT Academy is a specialized special education program in the Grossmont Union High School District. Right now, they are working on their mission by making personalized transition plans for the 2025–2026 school year. The campus has modern buildings and parking that are fully accessible to wheelchairs, which makes it a friendly place for all students. They learn important life skills through lessons in the community. For this term, the academy has put its new School Plan for Student Achievement into action. The goal of this plan is to make academic support and career readiness better for all students.
