Opportunity Academy is a public high school in Hayward, California that only lets students in grades 9 through 12 attend. Opportunity Academy will have a bigger effect in 2026 by making its Green Careers Guidance Initiative stronger. This program helps students get jobs in the new green economy that pay well and require skills. The academy still has a very personalized learning model that includes virtual classrooms and flexible schedules for students who need to balance work or family obligations. Seniors are also encouraged to go to the Joint County Transition Conference and Resource Fair in March 2026. The goal of this event is to help seniors plan their careers and get services for adults.
