Bolsa Grande High School is starting a new Early College Academy for the 2025–2026 school year. This will give students a big advantage because they will be able to earn college credits while they are still in high school. The school was recently named to the AP School Honor Roll with a Silver distinction. This shows that it has successfully made it easier for more students to take challenging college-preparatory classes. Students are also getting ready for the International Food Fair, which is an annual event that celebrates the Matador community's rich cultural heritage and food traditions.
