Sunny Hills High is a top public high school in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. It serves about 2,300 students in grades 9 through 12. It is known as one of the best schools in California, and 68% of its students take Advanced Placement courses, which shows how hard the school is. The student body is very diverse, with 90% of students being from minority groups and 45% being economically disadvantaged. Sunny Hills High is one of the best schools in the area. It has an 80% proficiency rate in Reading and a 65% proficiency rate in Math. Students regularly take college-prep tests like the SAT and ACT. The school is in a neighborhood known for its high median home prices and high levels of academic and extracurricular success. Its main strengths are its high graduation standards and its dedication to getting a wide range of students ready for competitive college admissions, and it is one of the best high schools in California.

The new $15.5 million gym and pool at Sunny Hills High School are already making a difference for student-athletes and physical education classes. The school's internationally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) program is still growing, giving students more chances to do advanced research and get academic recognition around the world. The campus also recently held its annual Lancer Day celebration, which showed off the school's commitment to community service through student-led service projects and a wide range of student organizations.
