Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord recently got national attention when a team of 12 students won a 2024-2025 Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam grant to come up with a technological solution for people who have trouble moving their hands. This prestigious award makes the school the only one in California and one of only eight in the whole country to get money this year for student-led engineering innovation. In addition to this success, the campus is still growing its Career Pathways programs.
