In August 2025, the new $200 million Compton High School campus officially opened its doors to students. It has a new gymnasium and a world-class performing arts center. Eric Bellinger, a Grammy-winning artist, recently came to campus to talk to students about the music business and how to set personal goals. The National Children's Chorus has also started a top-notch vocal arts program at the school, where students can get professional-level training in singing.
