About Burroughs High

Burroughs High School is one of the best public high schools in the Burbank Unified School District. It serves about 2,500 students in grades 9 through 12. The school has about 25 students for every teacher, which makes for a lively learning environment. The SkillsUSA Chapter at John Burroughs High School is getting ready for its third annual "Dress Up to Donate" event, which is still a great way for students in the district to get clothes. The school's award-winning Vocal Music Association recently celebrated 20 years of great work with its big "Burroughs on Broadway" show, which featured national champion show choirs like Powerhouse and Sound Sensations. Academic growth is still a top priority. The Engineering and Medical Academies give students hands-on experience with advanced tools like 3D printers and zSpace computers to solve difficult problems in the real world.
