The California Department of Education recently named Bidwell Continuation High School a 2025 Model Continuation High School. This is a prestigious award given to schools that use new methods to focus on student-centered learning. The campus is making a bigger difference with the district-wide "Every Day Counts" attendance campaign, which honors and celebrates students who are always engaged in their schoolwork. The school has also improved its academic model by adding personalized graduation plans and a flexible four-period school day that lets students focus on catching up on credits in small groups.
