The school serves students in grades 9–12 and offers a full curriculum that gets them ready for college, jobs, and other opportunities after high school. The school has a program to get students ready for college and careers. This includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes, honors classes, Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, fine arts, and sports. Willow Canyon High School focuses on helping students do well in school, get involved, and improve their skills. The students come from a wide range of backgrounds, just like the people who live in Surprise. About 41% of students are good at math and about 48% are good at reading (ELA). Willow Canyon High School is a public school, so it gets money from the state and local governments. Students take the SAT or ACT, which are college-readiness tests, and they also take tests that are required by the state of Arizona.
