There are a lot of different classes at the school, such as Advanced Placement (AP) classes, honors classes, Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, fine arts, and sports. The main goal of Shadow Ridge High School is to help students do well in school, learn new things, and participate in school activities. It also encourages kids to join clubs and do things outside of school and become leaders. The school takes a community-based approach because the students come from different backgrounds and live in the Surprise area. About 46% of students are good at math and about 62% are good at reading (ELA). Because Shadow Ridge High School is a public school, the state and local governments give it money. Students usually take the SAT or ACT and state tests to get ready for college.
