Being Updated
Effie Kokrine Charter School is working hard to make sure that Alaska Native cultural values are a part of the school year 2025–2026. For instance, there will be a traditional fall subsistence break to help students learn more about their local culture. The school is also celebrating the success of its Native Youth Olympics team, which just finished its first meets of 2026.
