George Carr Round Elementary School is located at 10100 Hastings Drive in Manassas within a suburban township setting of Prince William County. They serve students from grades PK-4 and enrolls approximately 479 students with a student-teacher ratio of 14:1. 67% of students scored at or above the proficient level for math, and 42% scored at or above that level for reading. The student population is made up of 49% female students and 51% male students. The elementary school is an inclusive community with an emphasis on basic skills and mutual support, having a diverse population of students and services that are suitable for the different needs of the kids.
The school is called after George Carr Round who was a significant local education advocate and contributed a lot to the development of public schooling in Virginia. Therefore, the school is very much associated with the past and pride. Parents are always praising the devoted staff, the cultural diversity, and the friendly atmosphere which are the reasons why it is known as one of the best elementary schools in Virginia.

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....
