Situated in central Lynchburg, Virginia, T.C. Miller Elementary School for Innovation has been known for a strong academic foundation and innovative learning for many years. The City of Lynchburg also provides a solid elementary education system, with average math proficiency around 65% and reading scores close to 68% among its school divisions. All this reflects a dedication to high standards for academic achievement among schools and the city as a whole. As of Fall 2025, the T.C. Miller facility has become a Pre-K and alternative education hub, positively serving families while focusing on early childhood development. Lynchburg is affordable, and with average rents for a home around $1,200 a month, it is a destination for families looking for quality foundational education and community-based schools. Other nearby schools, like Perrymont and R.S. Payne Elementary schools, are recognized as high-quality elementary schools in Virginia, thereby continuing the Lumberg legacy of providing families with high-quality education for their young children.
