The Rio Grande Valley is home to about 25,000 people and San Benito, Texas. People love it because of its rich culture, warm weather and close-knit communities. There are a lot of elementary schools in the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) and most kids in the district go to public schools. There are a lot of Hispanic schools in the area and they teach in more than one language. They stress important subjects like reading and writing, early math and literacy and teaching in two languages.
