Jack Anderson Elementary STEM School (JAE) is a public elementary school in Hendersonville, Tennessee, under Sumner County Schools, serving grades PK through 5. The school emphasizes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) integration across curricula, providing dedicated lab space, maker equipment, and project-based learning to foster critical thinking and innovation. Students engage in hands-on challenges, outdoor STEM classrooms, and exploratory labs equipped with iPads, scientific models, and robotics. JAE pairs traditional academic fundamentals,reading, math, social studies, and writing,with enrichment in art, music, physical education, and library. The campus also features a “STEM Outdoor Classroom” for environmental studies and sustainability exploration. The school continues to expand its STEM lab capacity, supported by parent PTO and community donors, ensuring each student has access to iPads and lab resources. JAE’s JAGS Treehouse before/after school program has extended partnerships with local childcare providers to increase access and transportation support.
The Sumner County Schools back-to-school schedule for 2025 includes a registration window starting July 16, reinforcing JAE’s transparent enrollment process.
