The school just started a new mentoring program with the help of community groups. A full-time Mentoring Recruiter will help students find adults who care about them and can help them make friends, get advice, and get help outside of school. Terry Redlin is also in a pilot program that sends a full-time therapist to campus to help with mental health problems. This puts mental health at the top of the list of things to do and lets students talk to professionals who can help them.
