Being Updated
This time of year, John Harris Elementary is full of energy and community spirit. The school recently opened its doors for the 2025–26 school year with an inviting Open House event. Students and families were able to explore classrooms, meet staff, and get excited for the year ahead. This set a warm and friendly tone from the start.
John Harris is also helping families through the district's free summer meals program, which is another good thing. Many families were happy to get extra help during the summer break when meals were provided to kids under 18. This made sure that kids stayed fed and full of energy even when they weren't in school.
