The start of school this year has brought some fun new things for the youngest kids at John F. Kennedy Elementary. The school has begun its free full-day "Junior Kindergarten Academy," which helps kids learn to read, write, and get along with others through play and creative exploration.This is a great way for kindergarten kids to make new friends. The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation gave Rhonda Wilson, one of JFK's teachers, money to build a writing and art center for junior kindergarten students that would use all of their senses.Kids will learn better and have more fun while they do it.
