Millbrook Elementary School has started the new semester off right by honoring a group of students who were honored at a recent district ceremony. Families, teachers, and district leaders came together to praise eleven students who had worked hard and shown real determination in their schoolwork. Teachers said the most important thing was to remind kids that finishing their work is important. Each student got a certificate.
Q1. What kinds of activities outside of school are offered at Millbrook Elementary?
Ans. Students can join clubs like art, music, STEM enrichment, and seasonal programs, for example.
Q2: Does the school have care for kids before and after school?
Ans. Yes, district-run programs offer supervised care, time for homework, and fun activities.
Q3. What does the school do to help new students get used to things?
Ans. New students can get used to things better with orientation days, classroom tours, and teacher check-ins.
Q4. What kinds of technology do students use in class?
Ans. Students can use tablets or computers, as well as digital tools for learning math and reading.
Q5. Are families and parents encouraged to get involved?
Ans. Yes, families can volunteer, join the Pto, go to school events, and stay in touch by talking to each other regularly.
