Aiken County Public Schools runs Millbrook Elementary School, a public K–5 school in Aiken, South Carolina. The school has about 700 to 750 students and a student–teacher ratio of about 16 to 1, which makes it possible to teach small groups in the early grades. Millbrook Elementary School teaches reading and writing, math readiness, and technology-supported learning. It also teaches science, social studies, art, music, and physical education. The school offers enrichment programs through the district and intervention services for students who need extra help. There are a lot of different kinds of students at this school, and a little over a third of them are from minority groups. U.S. News says that the school does about as well as the state average in both math and English language arts. The school is in a well-established residential area of Aiken with homes that aren't too expensive. It is known for having a stable academic environment and families that are very involved. In general, Millbrook Elementary School has consistent programs and gives students more chances to improve in their core subjects.
