Stephenson Elementary School is located at 2627 SW Stephenson St in the Arnold Creek neighbourhood of Southwest Portland. It serves students from grades K-5 and enrolls approximately 310 students with a student-teacher ratio of 20:1. In math, 77% of students reached the proficient level or higher, while in reading, 77% achieved that level or above. The student population is made up of 50% female students and 50% male students. ?????????? The?????????? environment focuses on being inclusive and achieving solid academic progress through programs like gifted & talented learning. One of the major strengths of the school is its ranking at the state level, Stephenson Elementary is ranked #15 out of all the elementary schools in Oregon, a commendation that is mainly due to the school's academic results and the positive culture of the school. Stephenson Elementary School will hold a PTA meeting on November 18 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the library. Parents and staff are encouraged to attend and participate in school planning and discussions.
