Bridlemile Elementary School is located at 4300 SW 47th Dr in the Bridlemile neighbourhood of Southwest Portland. It serves students from grades K-5 and enrolls approximately 446 students with a student-teacher ratio of 18:1. In math, 74% of students reached the proficient level or higher, while in reading, 78% achieved that level or above. The student population is made up of 47% female students and 53% male students. Bridlemile?????????? Elementary combines academic excellence with a strong sense of community, not only focusing on core learning but also social-emotional development of the students. One distinguishing feature is the neighborhood housing market directly next to the school, houses in the Bridlemile area are showing a median sale price of around US $820,000, which reflects a high residential demand for properties in the school’s attendance zone. Bridlemile Elementary School will observe Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day on November 14. The event honors Ruby Bridges’ legacy and promotes unity, courage, and inclusivity among students.
