Vandever Elementary School has opened “The Nest,” a high-tech sensory room designed to help students calm, reset, and return to class ready to learn. Featuring interactive light walls, soft crash pads, rocking chairs, tactile activity panels, and quiet corners, the space is used by counselors and special education staff to teach healthy emotional regulation, with early feedback showing improved focus and emotional resilience among students.
