About Smith Middle School

Smith Middle School, located in the Butler Township area of Dayton, Ohio, offers excellent academic programs for students in grades 4-5 as part of the Vandalia-Butler City School District's effort. The school has a long reputation of excellence and, more importantly, provides a character-focused culture that ensures students are prepared to succeed after middle school. Based on the most recent state test scores, Smith Middle School had a proficiency of 78% in math and 74 % in reading. All students are recognized with Principal's List, Honor Roll, and character awards. In addition to our strong programs, Smith Middle School offers supportive policies for parents, an active PTO, and great facilities to utilize.
