Walnut Hills High School primarily serves 7-12 grades but is also closely tied to feeder elementary schools in Cincinnati, helping prepare students for middle and high school. Walnut Hills High School has a strong reputation for "produce rigorous 7-12 curriculum" and achieving high results (94% reading proficiency, 94% math proficiency), consistently scoring as top public elementary school in Ohio. Walnut Hills works closely with elementary schools and Ohio's process for transitioning students to advance course work. The programs are focused on critical thinking, STEM education, arts, and leadership skill development to promote student growth.
