School 39-Andrew J. Townson recently hosted its annual “Culture and Cuisine” event, where families shared traditional recipes and stories, celebrating the diversity of the school. The school is celebrating the success of its new “Mindfulness Morning” routine that has helped students start their day with a sense of focus and emotional balance. The school has also recently upgraded its student technology with new interactive displays in each classroom to enhance learning.
Q1. What does the “Reader’s Theater” program at School 39-Andrew J. Townson offer to students?
Ans. Each day, students read an original theatrical script written from a classroom book and perform it, developing verbal confidence and enhancing reading fluency.

Ans. The “Math Masters” club gives students the opportunity to work on challenging puzzles and compete in regional academic games each semester.

Ans.They go on walking tours of the city to learn about its industrial heritage and to relate their classroom studies to the actual sites of the city.
Q4. What kind of mindfulness practices do students get taught at School 39-Andrew J Townson each morning?
Ans. Each day begins with some quiet breathing and reflection to help students settle and feel ready.
Q5. Are students at School 39-Andrew J Townson provided with the opportunity to participate in recycling drives across the school grounds?
Ans. Operating sorting bins, our “Eco-Guardians” educate their peers on how to care for our local urban ecosystem.
