The Pratt SoD x Mather Co-Design studio is now converting the Mather Governor’s Island Annex into a new Maker-Space that will offer students an advanced workshop, open studio, and dedicated educational space. Students recently attended a specialized Career Discovery Day to explore various career paths in preservation and the building arts, strengthening their ties with the National Park Service. This spring, Mather students are also preparing for their final Career and Technical Education (CTE) performance assessments, where they will demonstrate hands-on skills in carpentry, masonry and landscape management.
