The school has continued to be mentioned during the district-wide conversations regarding initiatives for improving early-grade performance and increasing classroom participation. Recent updates made within the New York City’s elementary schools place great emphasis on enhancing literacy instruction and attendance recovery programs within District 5, where P.S. 133 falls. Community schools within Harlem have also been enjoying the city’s resources dedicated to boosting reading skills and small group learning programs.
