P.S. 112 Dutch Kills School in Long Island City is giving its youngest scholars a vibrant new look. Supported by a great community and a recent round of crowd-funding, the school has completely restructured its Pre-K and early elementary classrooms. Students walked into the beautifully re-organized spaces with special calming mindfulness zones, vibrant new PE gear and improved modern lighting to increase focus and good energy. In addition to classroom renovations, the school has implemented new campus safety procedures and opened applications for the much-anticipated, free Summer Rising 2026 program, which provides hands-on academic and enrichment experiences throughout the summer.

Ans. Yes, students are able to attend enrichment activities, academic support sessions and recreational programs after regular school hours.

Ans. Yes, the school participates in the New York City public school breakfast and lunch programs for enrolled students.

Ans. Yes. Language assistance and instructional support services are available for eligible multilingual learners.
