Some of the latest news is about the ongoing involvement of the community with regard to P.S. 121 Throop. This includes a “KidZone & Community Resource Fair” advertised around the Bronx, which features fun activities for children, supplies for free, and family-related services. The fair shows the involvement of the school in connecting families with various educational and community resources.
Q1. Do Ps 121 Throop provide extracurricular activities?
Ans. Yes, we provide extracurricular activities that might include arts, sports, and enrichment clubs based on what is available each year.
Q2. Are there any facilities for students who do not speak English?
Ans. Yes, we offer special programs for those who are learning English.
Q3. Can you tell me about your security policies?
Ans. Our school follows all the guidelines set by the New York City Public School system regarding our security policies.
Q4. Are there any facilities where children receive free food in your school?
Ans. Yes, we provide students with free breakfast and lunch as per the program for NYC Public Schools.
Q5. Do you provide any facilities to get connected with the parents of students?
Ans. We have parent-teacher meetings and other school events where you can meet other parents.
