Antonia Pantoja Preparatory Academy has recently made major strides in academic achievement with high school literacy growth exceeding many of its neighboring schools in the district. The school is still building college-readiness resources through its "College Access for All" initiative and a strong partnership with the Bronx YMCA, which provides mentors and teaching assistants at every grade level. The campus on Lafayette Avenue has updated facilities and shared athletic fields that allow students to combine rigorous academics with physical wellness — and to participate in the Saturday Academy for Regents and SAT preparation.
