Despite these challenges, standout schools like Sharon School (63% reading, 63% math) and Pace Charter of Hamilton (68% reading, 46% math) outperform district-wide norms and rank among the top schools statewide.
?District leaders are implementing a 10-Point Literacy Action Plan featuring early-grade structured reading programs and targeted intervention efforts. By scaling successes and strengthening literacy practices, Trenton aims to build more equitable and effective elementary education outcomes.
