The Rosa L. Parks School of Fine and Performing Arts has a tough audition process for students. The school focuses on helping students grow intellectually, socially, and personally through the arts. The school has teamed up with groups like The Greater Newark Youth Orchestra and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center to give students valuable experiences. The school is known for its high academic standards because many of its graduates have gone on to attend top schools like Berklee College of Music and Princeton University.
