Q1: Will Concord Lake STEAM Academy be tech-focused?
A: Certainly, students will utilize Chromebooks and coding to improve their computer skills, in addition to using technology in all subjects.
Q2: What does STEAM stand for?
A: STEAM is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This will allow the child to be creative and encourage individual thinking.
Q3: Can I qualify for a scholarship or pay a lower amount?
A: Since Concord Lake STEAM Academy is a public charter school, the academy has no tuition rate, or costs as it is free so the academy can serve families without the worry of a financial burden.
Q4: What extracurricular programs or clubs can I join after school?
A: Extracurricular programs will include clubs such as the robotics club, music club, art club, and science club to name a few. In these clubs you are able to explore additional learning afterschool.
Q5: How do you ensure the safety of the kids?
A: The school has safety protocols in place to ensure safety and security for everyone at the school. The school requires visitors to sign in when they arrive and to complete safety drills routinely throughout the calendar.
