Being Updated
The McWillie Elementary School in Jackson, Mississippi, has set an ambitious goal for its fundraising. The school needs $500,000 to build a new building on one of its campuses. This will help with classrooms that are too full and make the school a better place for kids to learn. This project shows that the school wants to make the buildings better and give students a good education.
The school uses a Montessori-based curriculum, which means that students of different ages learn together in the same classroom. The focus is on interactive and self-directed learning. This makes for a one-of-a-kind and interesting way to learn. There are a lot of different programs at McWillie Elementary, such as Spanish and string instrument classes, as well as activities after school. This lets students try out different things.
