Parnassus Preparatory Charter School is a public charter school in Maple Grove, Minnesota, that serves students in grades K–8. The school has about 750 students and one teacher for every 17 students. This means that every student can get the help and attention they need. The school focuses on a classical education, which includes strong character development along with hard lessons in math, language arts, science, and social studies. Students at Parnassus Preparatory Charter School can also learn more about the world around them through programs in the arts, music, and foreign languages. The student body is somewhat diverse, with about 25% of students coming from groups that are not white. USA News says that students do better than the state average in Math and ELA, which means that they always do well in school. The amount spent on each student is about the same as the state average. This money goes toward good teaching and learning materials. The school is focused on education, but the fact that Maple Grove is a family-friendly place with safe neighborhoods and a lot of community involvement makes it even better. Parnassus Preparatory Charter School is known for its strict academics, helpful learning environment, and commitment to making students responsible and capable.
