Parnassus Preparatory Charter School’s Board of Directors evaluated former Executive Director Ms. Constance Ford in August 2024 and gave her high marks across all areas of performance. In recognition of her leadership and the successful renewal of the school’s 5-year charter contract, the board awarded her additional compensation.
Q1. Does Parnassus Preparatory Charter School have programs that kids can go to before and after school?
Ans. Yes, the school has programs before and after school that help with homework, offer extra activities, and watch over students.
Q2. What clubs outside of school can students join?
Ans. Students can join different clubs to make their learning more fun. Some examples are robotics, debate, chess, music groups, and art clubs.
Q3. What does the school do to help students with special needs?
Ans. The Parnassus Preparatory Charter School has a staff of special education teachers and individualized plans to help students with learning differences or disabilities.
Q4. Are there ways for parents to get involved at the school?
Ans. Yes, parents are encouraged to get involved by volunteering, going to school events, joining the parent-teacher organization, and helping with classroom activities.
Q5. Are there programs at the school that help students learn languages?
Ans. Yes, Parnassus Preparatory teaches Latin and Spanish as part of its classical curriculum to help students become more literate around the world.
