William S. Talbot Elementary School in Gainesville, Florida, is also part of the well-respected Alachua County Public Schools district, which earned "B" for the 2024-2025 school year and missed "A" status by less than one percent. This district has a history of success, with approximately 49% of students scoring at or above proficiency in math and reading. Families in the area also find it desirable because you can find rentals in the area for approximately $729 to $1,000, and homes in the area are typically between $400,000 and $800,000. The area is peaceful and is next to the Suburban Heights neighborhood, the school is notable for its strong academics and supportive community within the school and the neighborhood, which is the other reason it is considered one of the best elementary schools in Florida.
