Betsy Ross Arts Magnet School is transitioning into Betsy Ross Arts & Design Academy, with its first 9th-grade class scheduled for fall 2025. The New Haven Board of Education allocated $243,000 for curriculum development and staff training, even as a proposed classroom position is slated to be cut under district restructuring.
