Latest News

Danbury Public Schools said that AIS will stay an interdistrict magnet school. This is because state officials made it clear that there will be no financial penalties, even though more than 75% of the students at the school are from Danbury. School leaders say that demand is still high; AIS got 482 applications in its most recent lottery. The district is also looking into ways to make better use of space that isn't being used enough, such as moving special programs into the AIS building.

Ans. AIS has a special magnet program that focuses on learning about other countries. It involves learning about the world, being aware of other cultures, and teaching by asking questions.

Q2. Do elementary school students at AIS learn other languages?

Ans. Yes, AIS helps students learn more about the world by teaching them about other cultures and languages through lessons, projects, and activities that have to do with other countries.
