Ponderosa Elementary is using the district's new "Calming Spaces" program to improve students' emotional and physical health. The school is also taking part in the "Safe Routes to School" survey, which aims to make walking and biking to school safer for students. Also, students from the district were recently chosen to be in the prestigious California All-State Music Ensemble.
