Santa Barbara is a city in California Santa Barbara County on the coast. Around 88,000 people live there. The city is on the Pacific Ocean, between San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles. People know it for its Mediterranean-style buildings, great weather all year round, and beautiful location between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the coast. Santa Barbara is a posh place to live, but it also very laid-back. The neighborhoods are easy to walk around, and there are beaches, museums, and a strong emphasis on keeping the environment safe.
