Claire Lilienthal Elementary School serves students from kindergarten to 8th grade. It is a part of the San Francisco Unified School District. The school generally serves between 650 and 700 students. Our student-teacher ratio is about 20:1, which allows for some individual attention. We understand the importance of clear communication in this environment. This ratio means that for every 20 students, there is one teacher. We believe this arrangement helps support a strong learning atmosphere. This approach ensures each student receives structured instruction and personal attention. At Claire Lilienthal, students learn reading, math, science, and social studies. Our curriculum covers these core academic subjects. Looking at the data, approximately 65% of students are considered proficient in reading.
For math, we see that around 60% of students meet the proficiency standard. The student body includes a diverse representation of students, with a relatively even split between male and female students, each making up about 50 percent of the population. Homes nearby often start at about $1.1 million to $2 million. Many families now find it easy to stay in their homes for extended periods. Claire Lilienthal Elementary offers a balanced approach to education. We aim to support each child's academic and personal growth. The curriculum covers diverse subjects, providing students with a wide understanding and preparing them for future applications. Students gain a solid educational foundation here. The school also helps children prepare for life after graduation. This school is the best school in San Francisco.
