San Dimas, CA, is a small suburban city in Los Angeles County, just east of downtown LA. Like most suburbs in the region, it has quiet residential areas; family-friendly activities and services; access to parks, trails, outdoor spaces, and safe neighborhoods that support stable learning environments. The main educational agency in San Dimas is the Bonita Unified School District, which provides primary-grade education in several public schools, including Allen Avenue Elementary School, as well as a few private and non-profit schools.
