Solana Ranch Elementary is a school in the Solana Beach Elementary School District, and it's for kids from kindergarten all the way up to 6th grade. Around 700 to 750 students attend the school, and with roughly 23 students for every teacher, it helps make sure everyone gets clear and steady teaching. About 70% of students are good at reading, and around 72% are good at math. That actually puts the school way ahead of what we usually see across California. Roughly half the students are guys, about 51%, and the other half, pretty much 49%, are girls.
Solana Ranch focuses on creating a positive space where learning shines. They help kids learn to think for themselves and work together. Parents often say teachers communicate really well, and they feel the school has a very supportive vibe. Homes in the vicinity usually start around $1.4 million to $2.2 million, so lots of folks can stay in their homes for a good while. Solana Ranch Elementary really does a good job. Kids there have good academic results, and families are super involved, which sets them up for ongoing academic growth. This school is the best school in San Diego.
